Job summary

Tyson Foods Edwardsville is hiring a Job Description Checker Opr B-shift overnights to operate a forklift in a cooler/freezer warehouse. You will remove pallets from trailers, break down and stack cases, and verify product, date, and quantity.

Shifts are 12 hours, 3.5 days per week. Starting pay is $25.45/hr with a $1.50 attendance incentive and $0.50 shift premium; opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Must be able to lift 90–110 lbs and work in -10 to 32°F environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be willing to lift up to 90 lbs frequently and up to 110 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch and climb for 12 hours per day in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove pallets from trailers using a forklift.
• Break down and stack cases while receiving, verify product, date and quantity.
• Work in a cooler/freezer warehouse with temperatures -10°F to 32°F.
