Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations in Parma, OH. The role requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload freight, scanning shipments, and maintaining safety on a non climate-controlled dock.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use forklift and pallet jack to move freight
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Adhere to safety policies and work safely
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods
