Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Material Handler to help move raw and finished materials through production. This role requires standing, lifting over 50 pounds, and operating a lift truck as part of a busy manufacturing environment.

You will maintain inventory, coordinate receipts, and move chassis through multiple production stages, with safety and teamwork at the forefront of daily tasks. Lippert offers growth opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team to achieve goals.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Read and process work orders, receipts and measurements.
• Meet production goals and deadlines.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as needed.
• Operate radios, stabilization devices and tape measures.
• Physically lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Be highly organized with good problem-solving skills.
• Maintain professional relationships with leaders and teammates.
• Handle physically and mentally demanding situations.
• Adapt to climate extremes and daily changes.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain raw material inventory and unload deliveries.
• Coordinate paperwork at material receipt.
• Move raw materials through the production area.
• Move chassis through production and to holding/ coating areas.
• Move finished chassis to drying/holding areas.
• Maintain exterior yard including plowing and grading.
• Rotate positions within the production team as needed.
• Assist with repair work as necessary.
