Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Forklift Operator in Illinois to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will load and unload freight, maintain accurate records, and uphold ISO9001 safety standards across warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of forklift and inventory experience, ability to work overtime, and solid math and communication skills. Competitive pay and benefits accompany a day-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; prior warehouse operations and inventory management experience; AS400 operation desirable.
• 3-5 years of inventory operations and forklift experience required.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load / unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers; manage inventory for maximum storage capacity; maintain accuracy of records.
• Enter, maintain and update computer inventory records for real-time accuracy; ensure 95%+ inventory accuracy.
• Inspect, label and rotate freight; prepare shipments and boxes for shipping; follow warehouse procedures per ISO9001 and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Warehouse Supervisors to cover all warehouse responsibilities.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and proper reports are maintained.
