Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Owensville, MO is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to move raw paper materials, in‑process goods, and finished products within our warehouse. You will perform safety checks, load/unload trucks, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced 12-hour shift environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating forklift and/or clamp trucks.
• Skilled in starting, stopping, and driving forklifts through narrow aisles.
• Good spatial ability to judge height and width of loads and aisles.
• Ability to load/unload materials and move them safely.
• Knowledge of loading, unloading, and stacking in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to move raw paper materials, in‑process products, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• Load or unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices.
• Perform safety checks on lifts and equipment.
• Ensure loads are balanced and within forklift capacity.
