Job summary

PLA in Riverside, MO is seeking a Sit Down Forklift Operator for 3rd shift to join our warehouse team. You will load/unload trailers, organize inventory, and document movements, using a sit-down forklift and complying with safety standards.

The role offers a path for progression, a $20.00/hour rate with staged increases, weekly pay, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and additional voluntary programs through ADP.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 70–100 lbs throughout the day.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass PLA forklift certification (certification provided on-site if current is not transferable).

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down (electric) forklift to move pallets in and out of trailers and designated areas.
• Perform daily safety inspections of the forklift.
• Refuel or charge forklift tanks as needed.
• Verify and complete load documentation (paper or digital).
• Move pallets with accuracy and maintain clear records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Adapt to new schedules, team structures, or tasks based on operational needs.
