Job summary

Nestlé USA in Waverly, IA, seeks a Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing Associate to manage loading/unloading, stock levels and accurate tallies in SAP/MES. You will support packaging and processing areas while following established procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, lift truck experience, reliability and the ability to work the 3rd shift (12 am–8 am) with overtime. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous lift truck experience.
• Previous Experience In a Food Manufacturing Environment Strongly Preferred.
• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
• Willing and able to work overtime.
• Willing and able to work various shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures on loading and unloading of ingredients, supplies and finished products.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies to packaging and processing areas.
• Follow established warehousing procedures while staging or storing ingredients, materials and finished goods.
• Keep accurate shipping and receiving tallies and loading manifests in SAP or MES; perform transfers as required in SAP and MES.
• Removal of trash and recyclables; ensure safe operation of lift trucks.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and participate in safety inspections.
