Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring a Warehouse Operator/Forklift Operator to maximize loading efficiency and ensure product integrity. You will operate a forklift, complete quality inspections, and use systems like SAP and EWM to track inventory.

The role requires 2nd shift availability and a commitment to safety and teamwork. The position offers competitive pay at approximately $24.86 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour second shift differential, and benefits including 401k match and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Successful completion of post offer background checks and drug screen.
• Willing to work assigned schedule that may include weekends, Holidays and required over-time as specific to role.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Experience using warehouse equipment preferred, such as forklift, rider pallet jacks, bomber, etc.
• Ability to lift 40lbs repetitively.
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to work in a freezer/refrigerated environment.
• 2 or more years of warehouse experience preferred; Freezer/refrigerated environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) during order selecting and loading.
• Accurately load finished products onto delivery trucks with quality inspection forms.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to ensure quality finished product for customers.
• Maintain performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve DC operations.
• Recognize and address waste and assist in action plans for continuous improvement.
• Learn and use inventory systems like EWM and SAP.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to maintain product flow.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE; maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.
