Job summary

Nestlé USA in Waverly, IA is seeking a packaging line operator for Packaging Line 20 to work safely and productively with mechanics. You’ll handle quality checks, production reports, and inventory documents, while supporting continuous improvement and lean practices on the line.

Responsibilities include inventory transactions, housekeeping, operating line equipment, and adhering to Nestlé QMS and food safety standards. High school diploma preferred; forklift experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis and work overtime.
• Willing and able to work various shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory consumptions and reversals.
• Quality checks.
• All associate paperwork and computer transactions.
• Housekeeping and general sanitation.
• Operate and control line equipment.
• Perform any other duties assigned to you by a supervisor.
