Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, located in Wayland, MI, is seeking a Warehouse Person on 2nd shift to support the Production team. The role requires operating a sit-down forklift, reading production schedules, and ensuring timely supply of components to workstations while maintaining accurate inventories.

You will also handle shipping/receiving records, communicate with customers and vendors as needed, and comply with GMP/HACCP/LOTO and food safety programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read a production schedule and supply components to the proper workstations without interruptions to production.
• Fill out shipping and receiving records for trailers, tankers, rail cars and maintain accurate inventories.
