Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a production worker to support materials movement on the 2nd shift. You will operate powered industrial trucks, transport items, and help maintain production flow on the floor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Safety and housekeeping are emphasized in this role, with daily tasks and occasional maintenance support.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
Good mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

Obtain copy of production schedule and transport materials to/from designated areas.
Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around storage/production areas.
Stack goods in correct areas per inventory controls.
Check loads are secure and maintain housekeeping on the floor.
Perform daily equipment checks and assist with maintenance as needed.
Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
Complete paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned and assist maintenance when required.
