Job summary

Carpenter Co. is hiring a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator at our Fogelsville, PA manufacturing plant. You will unload/load trucks, perform final quality checks, and load trailers per customer specifications.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring safety protocols such as lockout/tagout during loading. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified and able to operate safely.
• Experience driving a forklift and loading/unloading trucks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trucks safely and perform final quality check on finished product.
• Load trailers in proper sequence and lockout before loading.
• Record and track information in the inventory control system.
