Job summary

York Container is hiring a highly-motivated 2nd shift Forklift Operator to move product from production lines to trailers. You will load for shipment, palletize as needed, and use RF scanning to identify and track items, ensuring damage-free delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience with RF scanning and palletizing for shipments preferred.
• Ability to follow loading manifests and customer pallet requirements.
• Adherence to safety policies and GMP/ Food Safety guidelines.

Trailers are loaded to customers’ requirements and as well as in ways to ensure transport of damage free product shipped to the customer.Essential Job Functions:Qualified to operate equipment by passing a Forklift Test.Understand the Loading Summary manifest sheet for product distributionUtilize RF Scanning system to identify product.Palletize product for shipment if required.
