We are in search of highly-motivated, self-driven Production Machine Helpers to join our successful teams!HEALTHCARE BENEFITS START AT 30 DAYS! 10% SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL.Job Summary:Assist the operator and assistant in the setup and running of machine, with a focus on time saving practices to limit downtime and setup times. Ensure a quality product is being released to our customersEssential Job Functions:Must possess sense of urgency in fast-paced environment, while working safelyLimit scrap waste,Deliver scrap waste to proper dept when scrap truck is full, and accurately tag for waste reportingCollect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite converting processPack products for shipment as specified for individual ordersLearn and practice good lock out/ tag out proceduresFollow reporting processes for accurate completion of production paperwork and CTI/HRMSHang print plates, mount die boards and handle inkRead and understand production order copy for every production run, and assist operator in ensuring quality (includes basic corrugated terminology)Understand machine mechanical functionality, and conduct in depth cleaning of press when scheduledOther Functions:Run press in case of operator unavailabilityWork overtime as needed in Production and directed by the Director of OperationsIn addition to the functions listed above, the employee is expected to: exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain an acceptable appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, dependability, reliability, self sufficiency, communicate effectively with co-workers. Warehouse/Shipping are impacted by the seasons and weather. Dust, dirt, and some odors, chemicals and solvents may be present in the workplace. Varied ranges of loud noise requiring hearing protection are present, so must be able to use ear plugs or muffs for protection. Bright to dim lighting situations are present.
