York Container in York County, Springettsbury Township, seeks a motivated 2nd shift Corrugator Wet End Helper to operate the corrugated line safely and efficiently with a focus on quality and waste reduction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety policy adherence, and maintaining housekeeping while assisting other operators and training teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to two years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate corrugator machine on 2nd shift safely and efficiently.
• Check basis weight and width of roll stock before loading.
• Set glue dams, adjust pressures and check glue patterns.
• Maintain web alignment and quality checks on the line.
• Prepare rolls and waste categories with minimal waste.
• Assist other operators to minimize downtime and train teammates when needed.
• Follow safety policies and ensure housekeeping standards.
