Job summary

A global water solutions provider is seeking a Forklift Operator for their Manitowoc, WI team. The role involves operating a forklift to manage materials and ensure adherence to safety protocols while meeting production and shipping schedules. Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably experience in warehouse operations. This position offers an hourly pay of $23.25 plus a $1.00 shift premium, with additional benefits including medical insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse receiving and shipping experience preferred.
• Accurately read, count, weigh, and measure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate materials and complete inventory transactions into Oracle.
• Recharge forklift batteries and/or change propane tanks.
• Pass a written test on safe forklift operations and demonstrate the ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Operate a forklift per defined procedures and safety practices.
• Identify and move raw materials and finished product.
• Inspect forklift and perform preventative maintenance as required.

Skills

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to lift 40-50 pounds

We have an opportunity for a forklift operator to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will move material with a forklift to meet production, shipping, and receiving schedules per company safety requirements while also meeting customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities

Key Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous warehouse receiving and shipping experience preferred
• Accurately read, count, weigh and measure
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Regularly lift 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds and have ability to use lift equipment
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor

Position hours/shifts

• 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday

Compensation

The hourly pay for this role is: $23.25/hr plus $1.00 shift premium (total $24.25/hr). Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
