Hourly Rate: $17.50 an hour

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Operating a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in a warehouse or industrial setting. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maneuvering in narrow spaces, inspecting equipment, maintaining inventory records, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and shelves using the forklift.
• Organizing and arranging materials and products in designated storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient retrieval.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory movement, including incoming and outgoing shipments, and updating inventory systems accordingly.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established guidelines for loading and stacking loads.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating a forklift, including the ability to handle various types of loads, such as pallets, crates, and containers.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to forklift operation.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to maneuver the forklift safely in tight spaces.
