Job summary

Terzo Enterprises is seeking a forklift operator to join our Mississippi warehouse. You will load and unload pallets, prepare them for shipment, and move materials to the correct locations while keeping the area neat and safe. You must follow OSHA and MSDS standards, wear PPE, and have an OSHA forklift certification before a formal job offer is extended.

The role requires attention to safety and efficiency. Shift is Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA forklift certification required before offer.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload pallets and move them to designated locations.
• Prepare pallets for shipment and ensure proper stacking.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe, following PPE rules.
• Follow OSHA/MSDS safety standards and Terzo procedures at all times.

What will you do?

This job involves driving a forklift and using pedals to operate a lifting apparatus. You will be responsible for preparing pallets for shipping according to schedule and keeping the work area clean and organized. It's important to operate equipment safely and efficiently using recommended methods. You must always follow OSHA and MSDS standards and company safety procedures and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Loading and unloading shipments safely is also part of the job, along with efficiently picking, moving, stacking, and storing pallets in the appropriate areas.
Utilize a forklift to load and unload pallets to and from trailers as well as move pallets to correct locations throughout the warehouse that meet company and safety standards.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

Duties Include:

• Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatus.


• Pull and prepare pallets for shipment as scheduled.


• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a clean, neat, and orderly work area.


• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.


• Forklift candidates must present an OSHA Forklift Certification before the extension of a job offer.


• Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing job duties.


• Unload and load shipments safely.


• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.


• Move, stack, and store pallets efficiently in the appropriate areas as required.


• Forklift candidates must present an OSHA Forklift Certification before the extension of a job offer.
