Description

Bray Controls, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc., is currently seeking a Freight Handler/Forklift Operator for a position at our facility in Northwest Houston, Texas. The Freight Handler will perform pre-shift checks of equipment, complete daily material checklists, and submit requisitions. They will also maintain a daily list of all cargo on the dock. Additional Responsibilities Include

• Label and stage freight for all carriers, load and unload trucks.
• Make transactions in the computer system.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly shipping area.
• Operate various pieces of equipment, including forklifts and packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse and materials handling, inventory management, forklift/power equipment operation, and shipping/receiving duties.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, problem-solve, and stay organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Willingness to complete forklift training and testing.
