Kerry is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Evansville, IN facility for the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). The role ensures safe movement of materials, supports production and maintains inventory accuracy in a busy coatings manufacturing environment.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior forklift experience, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, quality and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with warehouse and production support activities as needed.

Compensation Data

Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this position is $24.49 per hour. Position Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods and packaging throughout the facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by operating powered industrial trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety, quality and food safety requirements.
