Job summary

Crescent is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently. You will operate a forklift, stage inventory, and support shipping and receiving to meet production and delivery needs.

Ideal candidates will adhere to safety procedures, keep the warehouse organized, and communicate effectively with team members to maintain high productivity and accuracy.

Position Summary

Crescent Forklift Operators are responsible to move the necessary materials throughout the warehouse in an effective, efficient, and very safe manner.

Forklift Operators are responsible to provide the necessary logistics services to our internal and external customers. The FLO's processes will operate as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P's:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Safety

• Read, understand, and follow the Doing it Safe Playbook
• Understands and complies with all safety requirements
• Do not walk by any unsafe act or behavior
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Complete forklift inspection and trailer inspection forms accurately and according to procedure
• Operate forklift in a safe manner in trailer, warehouse, production floor, and around other workers.

• Work closely with other FLO's, Line Leads, Shipping and Receiving, and Supervisors to complete tasks on time, resolve issues, and continuously improve

Productivity

• Operate forklift efficiently to maximize productive time
• Communicate with Production to prioritize, pull, and stage inventory accurately and according to procedure to ensure efficient line operation
• Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment
• Communicate with lead and supervisor to maintain good workflow for assigned tasks
• Consistently reach pallets per hour productivity standard

Quality

• Load trucks according to Crescent and Customer requirements with consideration for weight, balance, and load security
• Report all safety, quality, near misses, accidents, mistakes, and product damages accurately and according to procedures
• Ability to accurately verify and count items to be picked, staged, or loaded
• Ensure the integrity of lot code is maintained through every product movement process
• Maintain customer or inventory separation when required

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Regulatory GMP manufacturing experience
• Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience
