Remedy has immediate openings at a local distribution warehouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that supports distribution across the US!

The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform case pick and inventory counts as required.

ADDED BENEFIT! This is a potential temp to hire position for qualified candidates!

Job Responsibilities:

1. Accurately load pallets of product for customer orders utilizing WMS computer system
2. Unload customer product into proper location while ensuring damaged product is processed before being put away
3. Operate forklift in a safe manner
4. Perform inventory counts to ensure bay location is accurate
5. Primary focus is on the inbound, outbound, quality hold, displays, case pick replenishments, and materials functions of the facility

Schedule:

4:45pm – 3:15am, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday with 2 additional days of OT

Pay:

$20.00 / hour
$2.00 / hour shift differential on 2nd shift

All candidates are expected to pass Remedy forklift assessments and a validation class to be eligible for a forklift position!

Validated candidates will have a client site forklift evaluation and interview.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Minimum of one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial lift experience required, must be recent experience.
3. Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
5. The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems
6. Work overtime as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
2. Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer
3. Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered
4. Pull orders accurately as assigned
5. Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location
6. Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
7. Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
8. Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
9. Operate forklift equipment
