Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Forklift Operator in Norton Shores, Michigan to support shipping, receiving and production teams within our facility. This role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate inventory movement, and timely loading/unloading of shipments.

You will perform daily stage setups, inspect equipment, verify BOLs, maintain FIFO processes, and maintain a clean, compliant work area. Overtime and shift flexibility are required for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret various measurement instruments.
• Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
• Pass pre-employment screens (drug, background).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily stage setup.
• Inspect forklift and pallet wrapper equipment weekly.
• Verify BOLs.
• Load/Unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Transport inventory between departments to support production.
• Maintain FIFO inventory process.
• Complete Receiving Forms.
• Keep a clean, sanitary, safe work area.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
