XPO is looking for a dependable Forklift Operator to join our Dallas, TX dock team. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight and operate forklift and pallet jack in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be 18+, capable of basic math, and able to work various shifts.

Preferred experience includes dock/warehouse work and forklift operation in LTL settings. We offer health insurance from day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, 9 holidays, a 401(k) match and education assistance.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry (preferred).
• Forklift experience in freight/LTL environment (preferred).
• Experience loading and unloading trailers (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
