Job summary

Novolex in Canandaigua, NY is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator in our warehouse. Shifts available: C shift 4pm–12am and A shift 12am–8am. Starting pay $20.46/hr plus $0.75–$1.25/hr shift differential.

Requires proven forklift experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating forklift, clamp lift, RF barcode readers; receive material movement orders; cycle counting; inventory; and packaging tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; must complete certification program within 90 days of placement.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Self-directed and able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.
• Receive and understand material movement orders.
• Cycle counting support; physical inventory of non-poly and finished goods.
• Repack boxes, stencil/re-label boxes, stretch wrap product, hand stack product.
• Housekeeping duties; inventory consolidation; material reclaim and scrap.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced Warehouse/Logistics environment.
