Job Summary

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. Coordinates material movement to presses based on production needs. Assists press operators with quality control to ensure high-quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stores products received from production.
• Assists with inventory management of finished goods.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated staging areas.
• Lifts heavy objects manually or with a hoist; cleans work areas, machines, and equipment.
• Operates industrial trucks or reach trucks for loading and moving materials.
• Communicates courteously and professionally with coworkers, management, and staff.
• Follows all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Responds promptly to calls, correspondence, and faxes.
• Acts, dresses, and behaves professionally to reflect a positive organizational image.
• Provides high-quality customer service internally and externally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or GED; one month of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively.
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and understanding ratios and percentages.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; problem-solving skills in standardized situations.

Compensation

Starting at $18/hr.
