Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States (Arkansas - Russellville area) is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, at a facility that operates seven days a week. The role requires loading, unloading, and processing materials with a motor-powered forklift and completing orientation for certification.

Candidates should have at least six months of work history with one employer, forklift or warehouse experience preferred, and must be able to work in a cold

Qualifications

• At least six months of continuous work history with a single employer in the last 12 months.
• Preferred forklift or warehouse experience (3 months preferred).
• Must have full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening.
• Cold storage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move around the work area at a fast pace and lift up to 50 pounds on dock and freezer areas.
• Follow Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends to meet production deadlines.
• Work in a fast-paced cold storage environment.
• Be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed; stand for 8 hours on hard floors in extreme cold.
