Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring Forklift Operators in Joliet, IL. The role involves loading, unloading, sorting, staging and moving products within a warehouse, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Position details include 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, with a shift differential starting at $1.50. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently according to safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
• Check product on inbound/outbound to ensure accuracy and no damage.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
