Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking first shift forklift operators scheduled 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Summary: Drives industrial forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the listed duties. High School diploma or GED preferred and previous forklift experience required; lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to move products, equipment, or materials.
• Position pallets and loads for transport and stacking.

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking first shift forklift operators scheduled 7am-3pm Monday thru Friday. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.

Summary: Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have previous forklift experience
• Lumber experience a plus!
