Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for full-time positions at our Tyler, TX facility. You will operate forklifts to move and stack lumber, load production lines, and assist with unloading trucks as needed.

Responsibilities include navigating a warehouse, using hydraulic controls to lift and tilt, and ensuring safe handling of materials. We offer a competitive pay and a full benefits package including insurance, 401(k), paid vacations, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking forklift operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.

Essential Duties

• Use pedals to go forward and backwards as well as be able to navigate a warehouse.
• Be able to use hydraulic controls to lift, tilt, and shift product for stacking or movement.

There are many departments that utilize forklifts, some examples are listed below:

• Unloading trucks and placing product into the warehouse.
• Loading for production
• Moving product around the warehouse.
• Loading trucks for logistics to ship to customers.

Education And/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have previous forklift experience
• Lumber experience a plus!
