Summary

Drivers operate an industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to the designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Keep a record of inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have prior forklift experience.
