Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time role in our production and distribution operations. This position offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include operating the forklift, moving and stacking pallets, unloading materials, tracking inventory, and assisting with material flow on the floor. Prior forklift experience is required; high school diploma or GED preferred, and lumber experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Lumber experience a plus.

• Position forks and load to pallets and move loads to designated area.

Job Overview

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking forklift operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.

Essential Duties

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.

Education And/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must have previous forklift experience
• Lumber experience a plus!
