Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Forklift Drivers at our Rincon, GA facility to operate material handling equipment and support continuous production. The role starts at $19.00 per hour, with a 12-hour rotating schedule and holidays/overtime included, plus 14 days off every 4 weeks.

Work environment includes heat/cold, dust, noise and exposure to chemicals. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and teamwork experience; forklift and SAP experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with others or as part of a team.
• Experience driving a forklift is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment at heights with attachments to move material for smooth production flow.
• Maintain high standards for quality and product safety according to safety rules.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment to keep it in good working state.
• Communicate information effectively to the team by verbal, written or electronic means.
• Work in an industrial environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, and loud noise.
