Job summary

Amcor in Phoenix seeks an experienced Forklift Operator to load/unload shipments, manage material flow, and support production and QA teams. You will operate sit-down forklifts, perform inventory tasks, and ensure accurate records using DC-link and JDE systems.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and perfect attendance, with a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and a $2 differential. A valid forklift certificate is required to apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related experience or training.
• Requires Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Basic math for parts and inventory calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operates sit down forklifts to load and unload shipments and receive materials.
• Complete paperwork for shipping and receiving.
• Maintain inventory records and perform physical inventories using DC-link and JDE.
• Support production, QA, and printing departments with materials.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Use RF scanner proficiently.
• Participate in inventory cycle counting as needed.
• Calculate parts requirements.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and handle boxes/products as required.
