Job summary

Amcor is seeking a full-time forklift operator in Dallas, TX, on the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM). Starting rate is $23.20 per hour. The role involves loading, unloading, moving raw materials, and tagging finished products in SAP.

Responsibilities include operating a sit-down forklift for long shifts, ensuring safety and quality, and supporting production with materials while maintaining warehouse organization. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED, additional technical training preferred.
• Forklift certification and prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years forklift experience; sit-down forklift preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Abides by all Amcor's Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe, but proficient manner; must be able to do so for a 12-hour period.
• Supply necessary raw materials to production as needed.
• Remove finished goods from production area and put production tickets on pallets and store in proper place in warehouse.
• Operate SAP Computer System in order to tag finished product and be knowledgeable of what material is needed.
• Must be flexible and able to work any shift.
• Must be able to work safely in a very tight production area and wear safety equipment.
