Job summary

Employ-Temps is seeking a Forklift Operator in Boardman, OH to operate a stand-up Crown forklift and a stand-up tow motor. The role requires working in temperature-controlled areas from 34 degrees to -10 degrees, with a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:30pm shift.

Pay is $15.00/hour. Responsibilities include pallet movement, warehouse layout familiarity, RF device use, and handling items up to 90 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus; HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up Crown forklift and a stand-up tow motor.
• Put away pallets of food product into overstock bins.
• Let down pallets into pick bins and move pallets safely.
• Know warehouse layout, inventory placement and pick paths.
• Operate power industrial equipment safely throughout the shift.
• Use RF electronic equipment for daily pallet movement.
• Hand stack items at varying heights and weights into pick bins.

Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking candidates with manufacturing or production experience for a customer in Boardman, OH.

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a stand-up Crown forklift and a stand-up tow motor.

The job will require working in areas with varied temperatures from refrigerated (34 degrees) to a freezer (-10 degrees).

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 9:00am- 5:30pm

Pay:

• $15.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up Crown forklift and a stand-up tow motor.
• Safely and efficiently put away pallets of food product into overstock bins.
• Safely and efficiently let down pallets of food product into pick bins.
• Develop a good working knowledge of the warehouse layout, inventory placement and pick path
• Operate all power industrial equipment in a safe manner while moving throughout the facility
• Use of RF electronic equipment in the course of daily pallet movement.
• Hand stack items at varying heights, weights, quantities in different temperatures throughout the shift into pick bins.
• Able to move in a full range of physical activity including bending and lifting weight from 1-75 lbs., up to 90lbs. on occasion
• Pick walk-up customer orders and load into transport vehicle

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically fit
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Ability to jump on and off a pallet jack the entire shift
