The role emphasizes hands-on manual labor, data-entry tasks, and adherence to safety standards with potential access to smartphones for timekeeping.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience.
• Experience loading semi trailers.
• Valid driver license and own transportation.
• Ability to safely operate equipment.
• Excellent attendance.
• Must pass drug and background checks.
• Willing to work in various departments.
• Able to lift up to 30-45 lbs.
• Steel toe boots required.
• Diploma or GED required.
• Smartphone access for timekeeping.

The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who just opened it's 4th location in the area and has a need for forklift drivers. The Forklift Operator position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials along with warehouse duties as assigned.

Duties for the Forklift Operator:

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift
• Load/unload materials
• Picking/Packing
• Material Handling
• Preparing, inspecting, and banding modules by hand
• Warehouse and Shipping duties
• Brace loads and prepare trucks
• Break down pallets and crates with power tools and hand tools
• Data entry to document shipping and order information

Requirements for the Forklift Operator:

• Must have minimum 1yr of recent forklift experience
• Experience loading semi trailers
• Must have a valid driver license and own transportation
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment
• Excellent attendance
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Willing to work in various departments
• Comfortable performing manual labor duties and using hand/power tools
• Must be able to lift up to 30-45 lbs as needed
• Steel toe work boots
• Must be able to climb stairs occasionally and do a lot of walking
• Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
• Must have a Diploma/GED
• Must have access to a smartphone to use the company's mobile timekeeping system

Shift for the Forklift Operator:

Night shift: 6pm-6:10am Rotating schedule means you'll get a 3 day weekend, every other weekend PLUS day(s) off during the week

Pay for the Forklift Operator:

$19.80/hr
