B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Forklift Operator for our project at the Shades Mountain Filter Plant in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to lift, move, unload, and stage materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently following OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
• Handle materials using the forklift safely.
• Maintain forklift and keep records of maintenance, parts, and manuals.
• Keep the work environment safe and organized, implementing 5S methodology.
• Follow supply chain processes and procedures to ensure quality service.

Requirements:

• Forklift certification with a capacity of 10,000 lbs or more.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Preferences:

• Flexible working hours.
