Job summary

Surge is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in Indiana. You will operate forklifts, perform pre-shift checks, and help move and stage shipments.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory checks with RF scanners, and adherence to safety policies. Candidates should have forklift experience and ability to work 10–12 hour shifts in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 6 months of forklift operation or warehouse equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete the required forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills and general computer proficiency, including basic Excel.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10–12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 10–50 pounds as required.
• Ability to frequently bend, stretch, lift, and reach at or above shoulder level.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
