Job summary

SURGE Staffing in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator II for first shift to join a busy warehouse and distribution team. This role focuses on safe, efficient movement and storage of products throughout the facility.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, perform pre-operation inspections, and use RF scanning to track inventory. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift and warehouse distribution experience required.
• 2+ years of forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to qualify for and complete NFI forklift certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment according to company procedures.
• Complete required pre-operation inspections before operating equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise safely in designated rack locations.
• Unload inbound shipments and transport products to assigned storage locations.
• Pull, stage, and prepare products for outbound shipment.
• Verify product type and quantities to ensure orders are loaded accurately.
• Perform order picking accurately and efficiently.
• Move products from staging and storage areas into trailers.
• Use RF scanning equipment to accurately track inventory and product movement.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain proper product rotation.

Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
