Forklift Operator

The Forklift Driver is an entry-level position in our distribution department at our bakeries. Responsibilities include moving stacks of product, using pick-to-light or voice-activated equipment, filling orders, and loading/unloading trucks.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained and certified.
• Report and prevent food safety and quality issues.
• Follow procedures in the Food Safety and Quality Plans, supporting SQF and third-party audits.
• Load trucks with correct product quantities.
• Know product locations and quantities on the shipping dock.
• Maintain work area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Physical tasks include lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and walking.

What we need from you:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1-3 years shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Ability to use hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle trays and stacks.
• Comfort around food machinery.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand and stoop for full shifts (up to 12 hours).
• Work in loud, hot environments.
• Willingness to work irregular, rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
