Job summary

Staffmark Group is actively hiring a Forklift Operator in Riverside, CA. The position requires operating Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, and Clamp safely, using Zebra RF scanners, and working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and 3PL environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
• 1–3 years of experience in a WMS and 3PL warehouse environment.
• 2–3 years of forklift experience (Cherry Picker, Reach, Sit-Down, Clamp).
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, and Clamp equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize Zebra RF scanners for picking, put-away, inventory, and order processing; work within a WMS and 3PL environment.
• Handle and organize inventory using modular racking systems.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials as required.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all warehouse tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Assist with overtime work as needed.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Occasional overtime required)

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a WMS and 3PL warehouse environment
• 2-3 years of forklift experience (Cherry Picker, Reach, Sit-Down, Clamp)
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.
• Experience using Zebra RF scanners

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
• Steel toed shoes.
