Position Summary

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our rapidly expanding team. The Forklift Operator contributes to our mission by cleaning and organizing the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks with products and ingredients, and supporting production with the delivery of ingredients and storage of finished product. This position is essential to support the department in maximizing customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Start time: Day 5:30am, Swing 4:00pm

Starting pay is $21.50/hour, plus a $.50 shift differential.

Position Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements
• Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
• Manage day to day inventory levels
• Maintain Forklift certification
• Periodic inventories
• Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions
• Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board, overseeing receipt of goods, verifying counts, quality, and completing required paperwork
• Stack and arrange product on pallets
• Complete forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift
• Replenish stock, keeping the warehouse organized and clean
• Move products within the warehouse as needed
• Rotate products according to FIFO or Julian dates
• Receive and check incoming products against documents, report discrepancies
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks
• Work in cold environments, temperatures between 32 and -10 degrees
• Support production activities
• Wear required safety gear including hairnet, freezer suit, boots, earplugs, and gloves

Position Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience
• 1+ year of forklift experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work with machinery in a noisy environment
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
