Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Indiana to support receiving, storage, and distribution operations. You will verify goods against documents, inspect for damage, and help maintain organized inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires English literacy, a high school diploma, and experience operating a reach truck or dock stocker. You’ll prepare shipments, ensure accuracy, and contribute to a team focused on reliability for clients and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming goods and verify against shipping documents.
• Inspect arriving items for visible damage and document findings.
• Coordinate acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods.
• Organize regular stock maintenance and inventory.
• Assemble deliveries from storage and verify quantities and article numbers.
• Package deliveries according to shipping instructions and packaging types.
• Add shipping documents to outgoing goods and handle internal/external transports.

Job description

• Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).


• Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.


• Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.


• Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.


• Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).


• Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.


• Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.


• Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
