The core responsibilities of this role include: [EXAMPLE: Case-picking by hand up to 35lbs. approximately 60% of the day; operating MHE including Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck approximately 40%.]

Position Details

Position: Second (2nd) Shift Forklift Operator

Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $22.00 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential

Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly performance and safety incentive bonuses.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess at least 6 months of experience operating a forklift or Reach Truck.

Role Purpose

Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock within our warehouse environment. You will load and unload shipments of various sizes, using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. You will play an essential role in supporting everyday life through your work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using various forklifts or power equipment (80% of shift).
2. Prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types are loaded.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
4. Follow OSHA and MSDS standards.
5. Verify load accuracy, check for stability and damage, report variances.
6. Change equipment batteries or LP tanks, monitor power sources.
7. Keep equipment and materials clean and organized.
8. Assist in physical inventories.
9. Perform daily equipment inspections.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift training program within 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
