Rand Whitney Container in Whitinsville, MA is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator. You will load/unload materials, move them to storage or machines, and help meet production goals. You must inspect forklifts, follow schedules, and maintain safety standards on the floor.

The role requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to read factory instructions. A state ID and forklift license are expected as part of the job prerequisites.

• 0–2 years of corrugated packaging or general manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities for efficient operation.
• Knowledge of layouts, production specs, and quality specs.
• Good interpersonal skills and safety focus.
• Able to use warehouse scanners.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a forklift safely to load/unload materials and move them to storage, machines, docks, or trucks.
• Deliver stock to machines on time and according to the production schedule.
• Complete forklift inspection forms before shift start and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to daily production schedule and assist in optimizing it for cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Complete forms and reports accurately (production data, machine status, safety and quality data).
• Maximize equipment utilization and operate at available capacity and speed.
• Assist with special projects as required by the business.

Operation of a forklift in a safe manner.2. Deliver appropriate stock to appropriate machines safely and on time.3. Complete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.4. Adhere to daily production schedule.5. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.6. Complete assigned forms and reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.7. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.8. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.9.
