Job summary

Partners Personnel is hiring a Forklift Operator for a DIRECT HIRE role with a leading print company in North Carolina. You will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload goods within a busy warehouse environment.

The position features a 2, 2, 3 rotating shift schedule (1st shift: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; 2nd shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). You will support inventory control, use WMS, and ensure accurate order fulfillment with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy loads safely and efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in production environments.
• Warehouse experience including order picking, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution processes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move finished product and supply various departments with materials as needed
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and ensuring proper storage practices.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, or containers
• Perform routine equipment inspections
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on distribution tasks, shipping & receiving processes, and inventory control initiatives.
