Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations in Illinois. The role focuses on moving and stacking materials with forklifts and clamp trucks, meeting safety and quality KPIs, and coordinating with teams for efficient inventory management.

Starting pay is $21.07+ per hour with a $2.00/hour shift premium, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement. Weekly pay and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months relevant experience, clamp truck preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PIT license.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and dimensional counting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English for training and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, efficiency and service.
• Follow safety regulations and quality standards.
• Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, load and unload materials.
• Manage customer requirements and storage logistics.
• Ensure damage-free stacking of products and coordinate with departments for inventory management.

What you’ll do…

• Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service

What you’ll need...

• Six (6) months relevant experience, previous experience operating a clamp truck, preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Ability to demonstrate basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
