Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support our warehouse team in Chicago, IL. You will move, stack, load, and unload materials using forklifts and clamp trucks, ensuring accurate inventory and efficient operations.

We value safety, accuracy, and reliability, offering weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior clamp truck experience and a PIT license are preferred for this long-term temporary role.

Qualifications

• Six months of forklift experience, clamp truck preferred.

• Clear English communication for training and safety.

• 2:45 pm - 11:00 pm
• 10:45 pm - 7 am

What You’ll Do…

• Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
• Follow safety regulations and quality standards
• Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials

• Coordinate with departments for effective inventory management

What You’ll Need...

• Six (6) months relevant experience, previous experience operating a clamp truck, preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Ability to demonstrate basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
