BASIC PURPOSE

Operate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher reserve slots during night and day shifts, and to place received stock in higher storage slots during the day shift using safe practices.

Main Responsibilities

As a US FOODS Forklift Operator, you will:

• Transport pallets from dock to warehouse, ensuring safety and security
• Replenish pick slots to maintain inventory levels
• Perform safety checks and record damages
• Maintain cleanliness of aisles and racks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification for Material Handling Equipment; experience as a Selector preferred
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and understand Voxware commands

Great Forklift Operators are vital to our team, embodying integrity and building trust with customers.

Compensation varies based on experience and location. In Alabama, expected pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with overtime included.
